Our Story

I chose automation — and built everything around it.

Early in his career, Danny was drawn to industrial automation and intentionally focused on recruiting within the space.

Over time, it became clear that most recruiters didn’t actually understand what makes someone successful in these roles. They relied on job titles instead of real understanding, pushed forward candidates without the right experience, and wasted time on both sides of the hiring process.

Danny took a different approach. He focused on understanding what the role actually required, how it fits within the team, and what makes someone successful in that environment. That meant asking better questions, qualifying deeper, and only putting forward candidates who were truly aligned.

That approach became the foundation of M1.
"I built M1 because I know what a great hire looks like in automation—and what it takes to find it. Most don’t. Clients deserve better."
– Danny Aldana, Founder

How We Operate

What Matters Most.

Fit Over Volume
We’d rather send 2-3 candidates you’d hire than 10 you wouldn’t. Our shortlists are targeted. Every candidate is personally vetted — not just pulled from a database.

Transparency Always
You’ll know where things stand at every stage off the search. If a search gets difficult, we’ll tell you why and what we’re doing about it. No guessing.

Long-Term Relationships
A bad placement might get us paid once. A great one gets us called back. We build our business on repeat clients — which means retention is always the priority.
